The Competition begins at 4:00 pm AEDT on Thursday 15 January 2026 and closes at 10:00 am AEDT on Sunday 18 January 2026. |
Entry Method |
During the Competition Period, each Entrant must:
There is no fee to enter the Competition or download the official AO App except for any costs that may be incurred under the contract between the Entrant and his/her telecommunications provider. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid. |
Maximum number of entries |
Only one entry is permitted per person. The Entrant must elect to complete a bracket entry in either the men's or women's singles main draw – not both. If two entries are received by the Promoter from the same person, the entry received first in time will be entered into the Competition and, if found to be a valid entry, the second entry will be disqualified from the Competition. |
Winner Determination |
Winner(s) will be determined by 9 February 2026. Each match outcome in the singles main draw will be determined based on the official tournament results as published on ausopen.com. In the event of any discrepancy between the Promoter’s official results and any other source, the results published on ausopen.com will be used. If a player in the singles main draw (men's and/or women's) withdraws from a match for any reason after the Competition Period has closed or after an entry has been submitted during the Competition Period, the Entrant's selection for that match will be counted as a loss and no points will be awarded for that match. This means that Entrants who have one or more player withdrawals during the Competition Period will not be eligible to win the Grand Prize, however they will remain eligible to win the Consolation Prize. The Grand Prize will only be awarded to an entrant who correctly predicts every match outcome for their selected draw. If no entrant correctly predicts every match outcome for their selected draw, no Grand Prize will be awarded. If this occurs, the Consolation Prizes will be awarded to the entrants who earn the most points in each of the men’s and women’s brackets, i.e., there will be 2 (two) Consolation Prizes, 1 per men's and women's draw. Points will be awarded for each correctly predicted match winner as follows:
The total number of points accumulated across all rounds will determine the entrant’s final score. Only correctly predicted matches will count toward an entrant’s point total. Player withdrawals, which are counted as a loss, will not be counted toward an entrant's point total. If two or more entrants finish with the same total score, either within the men's and women's bracket or as between the men's and women's bracket, the tie will be broken as follows:
For completeness, if one entrant correctly predicts the bracket in the men's draw, and another correctly predicts the bracket in the women's draw, the above tiebreak question and process will also be followed. If no entrant correctly predicts every match outcome for their selected draw, no Grand Prize will be awarded. If only one entrant correctly predicts the bracket across both men's and women's draws, then the tiebreak question will not be referenced. |
